Mysuru, June 5: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar celebrated World Environment Day. Smt. Yashaswini said that the theme of World Environment Day 2026 is “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future”. She informed the gathering that the global commemoration of this event is being organised in Baku, Azerbaijan.
• Students of Class 4 presented a short film highlighting the importance of trees and the dependence of humans on nature for their survival.
• Students of Class 2 presented a dance program dedicated to Saalumarada Thimmakka.
• Students of Gokulam Division presented a short drama emphasising the importance of saving trees and protecting the environment for future generations.
• The principal administered the Environmental Pledge.
• Students pledged to avoid single-use plastics, plant and nurture trees, maintain cleanliness, conserve natural resources, and adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿನಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, 2026 ರ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯ “ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತ. ಹವಾಮಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಜೆರ್ಬೈಜಾನ್ನ ಬಾಕುದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸಭೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• 4 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮರಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಉಳಿವಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿತರಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
• 2 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ (ಉಪಮನ್ಯು ವಿಭಾಗ) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಲುಮರದ ತಿಮ್ಮಕ್ಕ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
• ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು.
• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಏಕ-ಬಳಕೆಯ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದು, ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಪೋಷಿಸುವುದು, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
