Mysuru, Sept 16: The birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya was commemorated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. The event commenced with the offering of flowers at Visvesvaraya’s portrait. Students talked about his contributions, while Sri Manohar, a Kannada teacher, narrated the life story of the Bharat Ratna awardee to the students.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಸಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 16: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್. ಎಂ. ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯನವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯನವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯನವರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮನೋಹರ್ ಅವರು ಭಾರತ ರತ್ನ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರಾದ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
