Mysuru, Aug. 29: National Sports Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar.
- Samanvita of class 9 spoke about the importance of National Sports Day and highlighted the remarkable contribution of Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, popularly known as the “Hockey Wizard”.

- 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಸಮನ್ವಿತಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಹಾಕಿ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ” ಎಂದು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಹಾಕಿ ಆಟಗಾರ ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಅವರ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
