Mysuru, Aug. 17: The Nagarpanchami festival was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar.
- Worship was offered to the portrait and body of Nagadev.
- Students narrated the myths, rituals, traditions and folk beliefs related to Nagarapanchami through their speeches.
- Sang the folk song of Nagarapanchami melodiously.
- The teacher explained the religious and cultural significance of Nagarapanchami to the students and gave a message of environmental awareness that snakes play an important role in maintaining ecological balance.
- Students wore traditional attire during the program.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಆ. 17: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ನಾಗದೇವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹುತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪುರಾಣಕಥೆಗಳು, ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು, ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪದ ನಂಬಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
- ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿಯ ಜನಪದ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಮಧುರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
- ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿಯ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಹಾವುಗಳು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಮತೋಲನ ಕಾಪಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂಬ ಪರಿಸರ ಜಾಗೃತಿಯ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಗೆ-ತೊಡುಗೆಗನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
