Mysuru, Feb. 25: Science Week was inaugurated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. As part of the programme, Gahan Ganapathy and Pranavi of Class 1 dressed up as Neil Armstrong and Kalpana Chawla and gave information about astronauts. Gargi, students of Class 1 gave information about the solar system and performed a dance. Fifth Day: Seed balls were made. Resource person Sri Mahendra Prasad showed how to make a big ball by mixing different ingredients and making it into small balls about the size of a marble. Seed balls are a research-based eco-friendly method of throwing seeds, which brings benefits to agriculture and the environment. Students from Classes 1 to 7 were included in this. Along with this, Sri Mahendra Prasad explained the making of lamps from cow dung, making of incense sticks, and other things. Inaugurating the exhibition, renowned science teacher Sri Satish emphasized the importance of science and technology and the skills of questioning through activities. Various projects, models and experiments were displayed to demonstrate scientific knowledge and problem-solving skills.Models of various landforms and Kumbh Melas were also part of the exhibition.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಫೆ. 25: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ 1 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಗಹನ್ ಗಣಪತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಣವಿ ನೀಲ್ ಆರ್ಮ್‌ಸ್ಟ್ರಾಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಪನಾ ಚಾವ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ವೇಷ ಧರಿಸಿ ಗಗನಯಾತ್ರಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. 1 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಗಾರ್ಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸೌರವ್ಯೂಹದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಐದನೇ ದಿನ: ಬೀಜದುಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್‌ ಅವರು ಬೇರೆಬೇರೆ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮುದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಉಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಬೀಜದುಂಡೆಗಳು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾತ್ಮವಾದ ಪರಿಸರಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಬೀಜಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸೆಯುವ ವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಕೃಷಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರಕ್ಕೆ ಲಾಭಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ 1ರಿಂದ 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದರೊಡನೆ ಆಕಳ ಸಗಣಿಯಿಂದ ದೀಪ ತಯಾರಿಸುವುದು, ಊದಿನಕಡ್ಡಿ ತಯಾರಿಸುವುದು, ಹಾಗೂ ಉಳಿದವುಗಳ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್‌ ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಮೈಸೂರು, ಮಾ. 1: ʼಅವಿಷ್ಕಾರ್‌ʼ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದ ಖ್ಯಾತ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಸತೀಶ್ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುವ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು, ಮಾದರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ವಿವಿಧ ಭೂರೂಪಗಳ ಮಾದರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಂಭಮೇಳಗಳು ಸಹ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
