Science Week in RVK – Srinagar
Mysuru, Feb. 25: Science Week was inaugurated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. As part of the programme, Gahan Ganapathy and Pranavi of Class 1 dressed up as Neil Armstrong and Kalpana Chawla and gave information about astronauts. Gargi, students of Class 1 gave information about the solar system and performed a dance. Fifth Day: Seed balls were made. Resource person Sri Mahendra Prasad showed how to make a big ball by mixing different ingredients and making it into small balls about the size of a marble. Seed balls are a research-based eco-friendly method of throwing seeds, which brings benefits to agriculture and the environment. Students from Classes 1 to 7 were included in this. Along with this, Sri Mahendra Prasad explained the making of lamps from cow dung, making of incense sticks, and other things. Mysuru,
