Mysuru, Feb 14: An inter-school sports competition was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. Kumari Pallavi, who won gold medals in the International Paralympics, arrived as the Chief Guest for this program. Kumari Pallavi, who paid homage to the portrait of Vidya Bharathi, offered floral tributes and lit the sports lamp, inaugurated the program and spoke about the competitors. She taught the lessons of victory and defeat in sports, and told the players what their goals should be and how to find the path to success. Later, Sri Harish Shanai taught the sports pledge to the children. All the dignitaries joined together to start the 200-meter race. In this sports meet, Rotary Midtown Academy School, Mysuru, Poorna Chetana Public School, Mysuru, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar, Shastri Public School – Hunsur schools participated enthusiastically in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 4×100 relay races as well as in chess, shot put, and discus throw competitions. The children who achieved victory in various games were felicitated with prizes and certificates. Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar, School emerged as the champion. More than a hundred competitors participated and brought joy to the sports spirit. Lunch was served to everyone.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಫೆ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತರಶಾಲಾ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ಯಾರಾ ಒಲಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಪಲ್ಲವಿ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾಭಾರತಿ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗುವುದರ ಮುಖೇನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಂತಹ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಪಲ್ಲವಿ ರವರು ಆಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಲು ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಆಟಗಾರರ ಗುರಿ ಹೇಗಿರಬೇಕು ಸಾಧನೆಯ ದಾರಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ತದನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರೀಶ್ ಶಣೈ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. 200 ಮೀಟರ್ ಓಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗೆ ಗಣ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಟರಿ ಮಿಡ್‌ಟೌನ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಶಾಲೆ, ಮೈಸೂರು, ಪೂರ್ಣ ಚೇತನ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಶಾಲೆ ಮೈಸೂರು , ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಶ್ರೀನಗರ ಮೈಸೂರು , ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ, ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಮೈಸೂರು, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಶಾಲೆ ಹುಣಸೂರು ಶಾಲೆಗಳು 100ಮೀ, 200ಮೀ 400ಮೀ ಮತ್ತು 4×100 ರಿಲೇ ಓಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಚದುರಂಗ, ಶಾಟ್ ಪುಟ್, ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಸ್ಕಸ್ ಥ್ರೋ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸುಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ವಿವಿಧ ಆಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯವನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದಂತಹ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಮೈಸೂರು ಶಾಲೆಯು ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಪಟ್ಟವನು ಮುಡಿಗೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಸುಮಾರು ನೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿಗೆ ಮೆರೆಗನ್ನು ತಂದರು. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಭೋಜನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
