Vishweshwarayya Jayanti, also known as Engineers&#8217; Day, was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra &#8211; Srinagar.<br \/>\nSri Charan addressed the gathering and shared insights into his extraordinary life of Sir M.V. He explained how they turned problems into opportunities through their innovations &#8211; especially the invention of automatic flood gates in 1903 and the introduction of irrigation and drinking water systems for Mysuru and beyond. He spoke in detail about the construction of the historic Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) dam.<br \/>\nDuring his tenure as Diwan of Mysuru (1912\u20131918), the state witnessed rapid progress in industries, banks, irrigation projects and educational institutions.
