Mysuru, Jan. 11: “Rashtrotsava – Kratajnata Samarpanam” was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar.
The keynote address was delivered by Sri Dinesh Hegde. He explained the objectives and various schemes of the Rashtrotthana Parishat. He explained the service of the Parishat in the fields of education, social service and culture and the important role played by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in shaping the identity of the nation.

RVK – Srinagar Student Wins Big at International Yoga Fest

Mysuru, Jan.: Sumukh Acharya G, a 6th-grade student herein RVK – Srinagar, has been recognized for his excellence in Yoga on an international platform. Participating in the 31st International Yoga Festival, hosted by the Government of Puducherry, Sumukh successfully secured the 8th position.

Observance of Vijay Diwas at RVK – Srinagar

Mysuru, Dec. 16: Vijay Diwas was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. Sri Charan spoke about the significance of Vijay Diwas. He explained how the Indian Army showed great courage, discipline and unity during the war, which led to India’s victory and the creation of Bangladesh. He reminded the students to respect and remember the sacrifices made by the soldiers for the safety of our country.

Mysuru, Dec. 14: The birth anniversary of renowned yoga guru and global ambassador of yoga, Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. Addressing the gathering, Smt. Akhila spoke about the significance of B.K.S. Iyengar Jayanti. She highlighted his invaluable contribution to the world of yoga, emphasizing how Iyengar Yoga brought precision, discipline and alignment to the practice of yoga, making it accessible to people of all ages and abilities across the world.

Teachers’ Orientation Program – IV in RVK – Srinagar

Mysuru, Dec. 21-22: Teachers’ Orientation Program – IV for the academic year 2025-26 was conducted herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. The sessions covered five-pronged education, changing role of teachers in the 21st century, understanding child behaviour (3–8 years), communication skills, values in teaching, service-based learning, sportsmanship, safety measures, injury management, nutrition awareness and internal growth of teachers.
