Mysuru, Oct. 8: Sports Festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. Chief Cocoa Trainer, Sri M. Natarajan graced the program. The Agni, Prithvi, Vayu and Jal teams of the school felicitated the guests through March past. The chief guest inaugurated the program by lighting the Kreeda Jyothi. Then Smt. Anita preached the Pledge of Allegiance. Dance performance and Yogasana performance by Gokulam children, dance performance by 1st & 2nd class children, karate performance and a speech on the importance of sports by the Chief Guest and Sock Race and Tire Race were also arranged for the parents of the school children. Several competitions were organized for the students including Relay and Fancy competitions.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಅ. 8: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕೋಕೋ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಟು, ಶ್ರೀ ಎಂ. ನಟರಾಜನ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಅಗ್ನಿ, ಪೃಥ್ವಿ, ವಾಯು, ಜಲ ತಂಡದವರಿಂದ ಪಥ ಸಂಚಲನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಪಣೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬೆಳಗುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಗೋಕುಲಂ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಹಾಗೂ ಯೋಗಾಸನದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಒಂದು ಹಾಗೂ ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಕರಾಟೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಭಾಷಣ ನೆರವೇರಿತು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೂ ಸಾಕ್ ರೇಸ್, ಟೈರ್ ರೇಸ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ರಿಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಫ್ಯಾನ್ಸಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ಒಡಗೂಡಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
