Mysuru, Jan 14: The Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar celebrated the festival of Makar Sankranti. Newly harvested crops were offered puja, expressing gratitude to farmers and nature. Students discussed the cultural, agricultural significance, and traditional importance of the festival. They also sang a group song highlighting the significance of Sankranti.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕರಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಬೆಳೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಹೇಳಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ, ಕೃಷಿಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ಸಮೂಹ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
