Mysuru, Aug. 15: 80th Independence Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar.
- Inspector Sri B.K. Rangaswamy of the paramilitary CRPF arrived as the Chief Guest and hoisted the flag.
- After the guest bow and Vande Mataram, the flag was hoisted, and the national flag was saluted.
- A channel introduction and procession were held by students of classes 5 to 9.
- Ghosh performance and musical presentations were held.
- Addressing the gathering, Sri Rangaswamy praised the culture-based education of the institution and remembered the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters. He said that the students should respect the freedom they got through their sacrifices and grow up as responsible citizens.
- The tricolour rangoli and the map of Akhand Bharat drawn by the teachers were attractive.
- The students of class 1 dressed up as freedom fighters, national leaders and great achievers.
- The contributions of Sangolli Rayanna and Sri Aurobindo Ghosh were remembered.
- The cultural programme also included a dumbbells and hoops performance by the students of class 2, a pom-pom performance by the students of class 3, a national harmony drill by the students of class 5, a group song by the students of class 8 and 9, a yoga performance by the students of class 4 and a patriotic dance by the students of class 6. The Vahini groups also presented a procession, musical performance and other patriotic presentations.
- The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets.

- ಪ್ಯಾರಾಮಿಲಿಟರಿ ಸಿಆರ್ಪಿಎಫ್ನ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಬಿ.ಕೆ. ರಂಗಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಮಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ದ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಅತಿಥಿ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ ಬಳಿಕ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜಕ್ಕೆ ವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- 5 ರಿಂದ 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಾಹಿನಿ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
- ಘೋಷ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೀತ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಗಳು ನಡೆಯಿತು.
- ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪಡೆದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
- ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ರಂಗೋಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಖಂಡ ಭಾರತ ನಕ್ಷೆಯು ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
- 1ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸಾಧಕರಂತೆ ವೇಷ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಅರಬಿಂದೋ ಘೋಷ್ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ 2ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಡಂಬ್ಬೆಲ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂಪ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, 3ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪೋಮ್ ಪೋಮ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ ಡ್ರಿಲ್, 8 ಮತ್ತು 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಗುಂಪು ಗೀತೆ, 4ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಯೋಗ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ವಾಹಿನಿ ಗುಂಪುಗಳು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ, ಸಂಗೀತ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದವು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಿಹಿತಿಂಡಿಗಳ ವಿತರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
