Mysuru, Jan. 26: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Srinagar. The chief guest was former soldier Subedar Sri Krishnagowda B.T. and hoisted the flag. The students explained the importance of Republic Day in Hindi and English. The students presented various cultural programmes including patriotic songs, dance performances and leggy performances. Addressing the gathering, the chief guest highlighted the spirit of self-service and said that the Republic of India stands firm today because of the sacrifices of brave soldiers and freedom fighters. He encouraged the students to uphold discipline, unity and patriotism in their daily lives.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜ. 26: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 77ನೇ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾದ ಸುಬೇದಾರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣೇಗೌಡ ಬಿ.ಟಿ. ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ದ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಿಂದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳು, ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಲೆಜಿಮ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಾ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು, ಭಾರತ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯ ಇಂದು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವುದು ವೀರ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ತ್ಯಾಗದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಅವರು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
